How are things in SA? In the rest of the world we hear little of the status of things in your neck of the woods.
What is the nature of your PhD?
So many questions!!! Sorry, I can be a bit like the Spanish Inquisition sometimes.
I am an Australian resident presently journeying across Canada and the USA observing the state of affairs there...tragic is one word which comes to mind to describe what I am seeing all over the place.
We call for unity and the recognition of our common (human) goals of survival but I see no evidence whatsoever that the powers that be are even vaguely interested in causing peace or survival of the present population.
I have been 'in flight' for the past 6 weeks; everyday I count my blessings that I live in the southern hemisphere as the northern one seems to be headed for certain disaster. I see no unity, no agreement, no recognition of commonality. I see ignorance and attitudes of downright bloody-mindedness towards the rest of the world. I see Americans still doing what the rest of the world loathes - they 'tell' you how YOU should be like them! UGGGG!
I do not know where it will end.
So, with all of that I hope and pray there are signs of unity in South Africa?
