About Me:

I am a poet. I enjoy hiking, beautiful scenery, reading, writing and listening to music, photography and other forms of two dimensional art, ie. painting and drawing. I have a morbid curiousity of the paranormal and I get a kick out of listening to podcasts such as The Paracast, Black Vault Radio and Eerie Radio, not to mention Coast to Coast. Aside from listening to paranormal stuff, I enjoy learning about the latest tech news and trouble shooting computers. I am intrigued by astronomy and I love learning about spirituality. I manage my own group/community called Evolving Consciousness and New Thought dealing with, but not limited to spirituality. By the way, my avatar is an African grey parrot who lived with me for two years before going back to live with his original owner who always regretted having to rehome him while she attended Veterinary school. His name is Shaka...

Important Teachers:

In high school, my favorite teacher was Mr. Mathieson who taught English Literature. He had a way of presenting literature in the historical context that broadened the scope of why it is we all need to write. Each perspective is important and paints yet another unique facet of the human experience. My other "teachers" would be in the form of the books various authors imparted to us, such literature as that of Shakespeare, Cervantes, Shelley, and so on...

Favorite Books:

I haven't met I book I didn't like, unfortunately, I don't get the opportunity to read as much as I'd like. The following are books I have read: Friend of the Earth ~ T.C. Enya, Enigma, Magna Canta, Gregorian, Mythos, Snatam Kaur, Deva Premal, U2, Sting, Peter Gabriel, George Winston, Jesse Cook, Shahin and Sepehr, 3rd Force, Brent Spiner, Mandy Patinkin, Paul Schwartz, Perla Batalla, Celtic Women, Sarah Brightman, Sarah Mc Lauchlan, Loreena Mc Kennitt, Ottman Leibert, James Asher, Simple Minds, Santana, Bach, Motzart, Beethoven...Yo-Yo Ma... I think you get the idea, I am a music junky, I like pretty much anything except Heavy Metal, Rap, and Hip Hop, Grundge.
