Had a very sad childhood. Mother sent to asylum after trying to cut me up with an axe.

Went through high school with awards for general science.
Became alcoholic, went through rehab. Joined 12 steps group of AA.
Attended "A course in miracles" every week for four years wile caretaking the hosts property.
