Color of Intentions?

hi freinds whats up?

hey i was thinking about color as i have seen sevral post hmm kinda reffer to difrant colors in there healing or sending energy.

there are sevral colors to the Rainbow. its kinda is the same colors of the chakras interesting i know huh? well here is what i would like you to think about a challange to use colors in your healing/energy work.

if you would also give us your understanding of the following colors as you have been schooled in thought.

Purple
navy/darkblue
aquamarine/light blue
Green
pink
yellow
orange
red
black

metal colors
Gold
silver
copper
brass
pewter
iron (not the one you use on clothes)

i am asking this forum to share there belifes in color and how they effect us as a vibrational being in the feild of thought.This thread is a TieDie thread lol.anyone can post here healer or non healer i thx you in advance .

I don't know a lot about the color, but I will tell you what I know so far about them. Color's of light was used in what as call a healing room (building) of many colors. It was to heal you on a spiral, mind and body.

Sorry I wasn't a lot of help, but I hope it shed some light. If I'm wrong someone will let me know.

Hmm, I think asside from having a general effect (red = excitement, blue = calming etc. . . ), each colour affects each individual differently depending on their personal history and relationship with that colour. (eg: one of my friends finds green an energizing colour, and I find it a calming colour).

Hi All, I am new around here and as such this is my first post.

For me, colour is not about what we see when we look at it, it is much more about how it makes us feel. I think that how we feel about a particular colour at any given time, is related to what it is we need at that time. Therefore, I can see colour is useful in therapy/healing if it is chosen by the individual themselves at the time, to aid in the healing or therapy they are receiving. I feel that music works on the same principle - for example, I am often moved by a piece of classical music and it stirs in me different perceptions, visions, feelings, but so can a piece of rock or pop music depending on what I need at the time. The universe provides for us all, often with the intervention of other people with whom our paths cross. We all need each other but most importantly we need our higher-self's who knows intuitively what is right for each of us. A kind of personal energy that is lnked to the colour - to help us in the healing of ourselves?
I will share my feelings with you on what came to mind when considering the colours you mentioned.

Purple = Spiritual feelings
navy/dark blue = Calm, night and the moon
aquamarine/light blue = calm and water
Green = peace and nature
pink = fun and fragrance
yellow = sun but also mayhem
orange= strength and paternal
red = inner desires
black = protection and cleansing

metal colours
Gold = attunement
silver = celestial
copper = protection
brass = strength
pewter = intuition
iron = building
Of course this is only my very personal take on these colours and I would like to postulate, that if I mediate on them at a different time, I may get different feelings/results.
