An angel is higher generic life form that is not living in the world of material form. A go between our selves and our higher self, that has a greater overview of where are and what we are. Life’s assistances when times are troubled. Possibly also the genie from the light of the lamp!

That is actually a pretty amazing description. I describe angels on my website as well. I talk with them frequently and feel they are the non-body form of what we are creating here on earth. All they really want to do is assist us in assisting the planet, and are available at all times.

They come in many forms- in my experience do not interfere- they make their presence known when we need them- they come to our aid- to offer love- to remind us to Believe.
The two I met once in physical form came as small elderly people with a gift of Love.

In his book Kingdom of the Gods, (first edition by Theosophical 1952) Illustrated by Ethelwynne M Quail in 1937 Geoffrey Hodson has illustrations of various angels, and nature spirits seen clairvoyantly.

It's a pretty scarce book and a great find if you can turn one up.

mine is a spirit of a higher vibration than ours they are messnegers of course protecters also its said we each have at least 2 angels with us at all times i have asked angel to guard my home and loved ones i been escorted into other places by them in visions

At the risk of seeming irreverent, it appears that angels are pretty much what we want them to be and/or what the soul needs them to be. Mine are astoundingly beautiful, timely and restorative to my being.The question I would ask is who creates them?
