Hello dear people,

Im not sure which bird tribe i belong to, couldnt find out sofar.
But i remember a friend once who said i looked like Jonathan Livingston
Seagull from the story of Richard BAch.
Since im also looking for another way to live life as most peopel do.
And that can be challenging as i had to go my own way,
not sure what to look for.
But finnaly i met people who supported my dream of another way,
its great to connect to daring souls. Cause sometimes id also doubt
whether or not i will make it.
So thank you all for being there!

Wanted to add that this dream was rather surprising as I never read or heard of plumed dragon until I started looking for it after the dream. Also the sentiment expressed by Campbell matches my inner state.

In _The Power of Myth_, Joseph Campbell remarks on the ubiquity of the dragon myth in different cultures:
"... a constant image is that of the conflict of the eagle and the serpent. The serpent bound to the earth, the eagle in spiritual flight -- isn't that conflict something we all experience? And then, when the two amalgamate, we get a wonderful dragon, a serpent with wings. All over the earth people recognize these images. H, MIta! I've been updating and expanding CONSCIOUS HEALING for a 2nd English edition and a German edition, and had just been working on this part when I read your post ...

In what is today Mexico, a figure known as Quetzalcoatl embodied the higher light of divinity. Judith Polich has called Quetzalcoatl “the Osirus of Mesoamerica” and sees him as symbolizing the bridging of duality, a being who “represents light in physical form … freed from the confines of matter.”

Readers of Daniel Pinchbeck’s phenomenally bestselling 2012: The Return of Quetzalcoatl may remember this strong admonishment purportedly from the Mesoamerican god delivered through the author: “Soon there will be a great change to your world ... You have just a few years yet remaining to prepare the vehicle for your higher self. Use them preciously ... Consciousness is technology—the only technology that exists ... The current transition is ... a return to origin. The original matrix of this new world reality is the ecstatic limitlessness of your own being.”

It seems poetic justice that Quetzalcoatl nearly always is depicted as a hybrid figure, a great serpent with bird wings. In my opinion, this is an obvious reference to the ability of DNA (symbolized by the serpent) to transform one into a birdlike angelic being capable of f/light—which is an excellent definition of the merkabah, as well as a wonderful visual illustration of how the “terrestrial body” of humans as we know ourselves (the serpent that exists on the ground) becomes the “celestial body” of ascended humans (the angelic bird that thrives in the air).

Hi Sol. Wonder whether your new book edition on 'Conscious healing' includes anything on UFO and extraterrestrial intelligence. I remember in my teenage years I was irresistibly drawn towards Erik von Daniken books that basically says human history and planetary civilization was influenced through visitations from non-earthly intelligence. Now the UK Government has released classified footage and information on UFO and some Nasa footage available on youtube. Of course I feel all extraterrestrials are not evolved consciousness and intelligence do not necessarily mean the ability to form healthy and happy relationship with other consciousness and life forms (awaken bodhichitta or christ consciousness).

I have some personal experience of seeing swarms of unidentified flying objects early morning in 2008 when I woke up an felt a pull and a telepathic message to come out and observe the sky. I wonder whether some of the ancient gods are visitors from space and were involved in the buiding of pyramids as sacred places of cosmic knowledge. Now the later earth bound power struggle led to many distortions in human history and even in this day and age of free information and fast changing technology it is extremely difficult to sort out reality from delusion.

I am somewhat puzzled by the co-existence of extreme violence, human sacrifice, blood letting ritual , use of hallucinogens (for psychospiritual experience) in mesoamerican civilization along with signs of great art, architecture and evolved consciousness. Not sure why i am writing in this vein...

I guess my question is how consciousness as a technology can be used to evolve consciousness? And also wondering...whether the Mayan projection of year 2012 as end of this planetary cycle suggests an end or breakaway or pulling apart from separative and territorial consciousness towards unified higher consciousness or awakening to the sacred in all that is.

I have not studied Maya that much but always felt there must be more to Mayan Prophesy for 2012. Just came across these Drunvalo Melchizedek which has some new and interesting information and the need to transfer and assimilate cosmic knowledge between ancients and modern consciousness.

Actually, I don't go into a lot of information on the extraterrestrial angle with regard to DNA in Conscious Healing, aside from using The Law of One as corroborative material. In Book Two on the Regenetics Method (in progress), however, I share some of the more "mystical" or "paranormal" aspects related to the development of Potentiation and the Regenetics Method.

Consciousness is all that is, so only consciousness can be used to evolve consciousness. This subject, of course, is the absolute and highly detailed focus of the Regenetics Method as elaborated in Conscious Healing.

In answer to your question about 2012, if you've read any of my material, you ought to know that my position, similar to the Mayan perspective as outlined in the work of numerous scholars from Jenkins to Calleman, is that there is a very positive Shift in Human Consciousness going on. :-)

As for Drunvalo, I admit that I've never been much of a fan. That said, I'm glad that he shares a positive interpretation of the unfoldment of current events leading up to 2012 ...

Sol, what do you think of this crop circle? On the 14th of June 2009, a crop circle which closely resembles the 'Aztec Spirit Bird' appeared in the fields at Barbury Castle near Wroughton, Wiltshire. The formation also bears resemblance to the 'Mayan Thunderbird' and the 'Egyptian Phoenix' also known as the 'Bennu Bird'. Bennu comes from the verb Weben which means 'to rise brilliantly' or 'to shine' ...
