In building a viable community, it is appropriate to honor the "movers and shakers," the truly Rare Birds, that make up our community. This Bird Tribe group is designed to highlight one of our extraordinary Members each month.

FAROUT! I would just love to have these flying dreams all the time!!!!! I notice that in my flying dreams I am always around people....and they see me leave the ground and fly and they always stand there in awe with their mouths agape. In a few of them I am trying to teach them how to do it...and it all starts with this amazing feeling in the heart, I think it is faith and love...and it is channeled in such an energetic way..and a hopeful way and they up up ya rise.........anyone else have dreams like this????? I wonder sometimes if it is just an unconscious yearning to want to be above the earth and not walking upon it......don't know.....but if I could have these dreams every night...that would be a true blessing! Cool that you have these dreams too KEN...like your interpretation of them and what you think about them....just..totally FAROUT!

Denise you are indeed a rare bird. You are a free spirit! The eagles chose you as they did me. The eagle is my totem. Eagles are the most revered and honored of all God's creatures by indigenous people all over the world. The represent strength,wisdom.seeing the big picture,freedom of spirit and freedom of movement and of course grace. I feel that one of the things that appeals most to you is probably the serenity and grace of the eagle's flight. Seemingly without effort to glide upon the wind and see everything and not get drawn down into the drama we call life. However remember that The Master told us to be in the world but not of it. Kryon referred to it as a tarpit. We have to learn to navigate it without getting tar all over us. All easy to say but not easy to do. Simple but not easy. INMHO we must all learn not to just give love but to totally BE love. There is a passage from the Course in Miracles that I have been using for years. " I am Spirit. A holy son of God. Free and without limitations. Free and healed and whole. Free to forgive. Free to save the world." I always add "Free to Love the world. Free to love me." The moment you totally accept, in your mind and in your heart that you are healed is the very instant you will shed the illusion of dis-ease. Whenever you can manage to laugh in joyous gratitude that you are already healed is the moment it will happen. I tell you this from personal experience just as it was gifted to me so that I could "Speak with the voice of authority." Now, make your affirmation of healing (it has to be right here,right now. Not "going to heal". Not "will be healed." I am healed and I am whole NOW! Thank you Father!", Spoken with AUTHORITY like you Really mean it!!! is the only way that works.) Then totally release it and shift your focus to something hilariously funny and keep busy doing something so that your mind does not come back to the concept of sickness. Many hours later it will suddenly dawn on you that you are no longer sick. This is my gift to you but it is not FROM me. I am merely the messenger and honored to be so. "It is not I that do the work but the Father within."
Healing and wholeness are yours right here right now. Accept it. You have a lot of work to be doing as do we all. Laugh! Sing! Dance! Every single moment that you can no matter what you are doing or where you are. Simply act joyous. Sing happy songs. Find stuff to laugh about. And be grateful for everything especially our challenges which make us grow.

Well well well!!! Bless your little pea-pickin' heart as Tennessee Ernie used to say!!!! You asked about ACIM (A Course In Miracles) It is a 365 day course in becoming miracle minded and hopefully enlightened. It will change your life for sure! That I can absolutely guarantee!!! There is a Textbook and a Workbook and a Teacher's Manual. In the beginning of the Text there is a summary which explains what it is about:

"This is a course in miracles. It is a required course. Only the time you take it is voluntary. Free will does not mean that you can establish the curriculum. It means only that you can elect what you want to take at a given time. The course does not aim at teaching the meaning of love, for that is beyond what can be taught. It does aim, however, at removing the blocks to the awareness of love's presence, which is your natural inheritance. The opposite of love is fear, but what is all-encompassing can have no opposite.

This course can therefore be summed up very simply in this way:

Nothing real can be threatened.
Nothing unreal exists.

Herein lies the peace of God."


It also tells you that it doesn't matter whether you believe what it says or not and that you may even vehemently oppose what is being said. It doesn't matter so long as you consistently do the lessons. At first the lessons will not make any sense at all to you and that is OK becasue the whole purpose of the course is to make you think differently from what you do now. In other words "repent" which simply means change your thinking!! Does that not throw a little more light on what Jesus taught. In actual fact the entire course is channeled material directly from Jesus through a non practicing catholic Jewish lady who was an atheist when she acted as scribe for the work. She would never allow her name to be connected with it in any way while she was alive. her name was Dr.Helen Schucman and her partner in crime was bill Thetford. The way it came to be is incredibly interesting and the way it made its way around the world virtually overnight is also amazing. I had no sooner voiced my intent to get a copy of the Course and someone gifted me with it less than a week later because someone had given her two sets and just left them in her car with no note or anything. How freaky is that? Here is another excerptfrom it in the Text. It is basically a "Lord's Prayer" in scope and context. Just slightly different wording but incredibly profound.

Forgive us our illusions, Father, and help us to accept our true relationship with You, in which there are no illusions, and where none can ever enter. Our holiness is Yours. What can there be in us that needs forgiveness when Yours is perfect? The sleep of forgetfulness is only our (the) unwillingness to accept (remember) Your forgiveness and Your Love. Let us not wander into temptation, for the temptation of the Son of God is not Your Will. And let us receive only what You have given, and accept but this into the minds which You created and which You love. Amen. (T16. VII. 12 And here is the link to the home page for ACIM:

The lessons are available online as an audio presentation and as far as I can tell they are free. you may also obtain through their online store a 59 cd set for $165. I thought you would find the audio online quite handy since you ae having trouble with your eyesight at the moment. However I strongly urge you to go through and read each and every selection in the left hand menu in order to fully understand what you are getting into and what an incredible tool it is and why it is. Denise, I feel such joy for you right now! It is almost as though God has placed his hand on me and instructed me to be the instrument of your healing!!! I haven't felt this connected and joyful in a while. Oh My!! What an honor for me. Tears are streaming down my face as I write! Thank you Father!!!

AMEN KEN! I don't think I could have worded it any better. The eagle is also my totem. I remember one day...sitting on a ridge in the mountains overlooking a beautiful valley. As I sat there, I spoke to GOD and asked him to use me and guide me into all good things. I also asked him to heal me...as I have two diseases that I suffer from and also a heart condition. I heard him speak to me and he told me healing time is coming. I have never lost that hope and I live each day as though healing has already begun and has happened. I have not lost hope.

OOOPS...I meant to also add..that as I was sitting there on the mountain ridge having this wonderful conversation with the LIGHT.....all of a sudden......from over my head comes this bald eagle......so close to me......shocked me because we don't see that many of them in the area where I was living...rarely if at all. So....it flew over my head and then on across the valley and just disappeared......
I feel a very strong connection with the hawk too....almost as strong as the eagle...
Anyway...it is late and it is 1:11...special time..and time to slumber..zzzzzz

Mel I have watched several of your videos so far. I particularly loved Tears That Never Dry. So profound and The Eagle's Lullaby is fantastic as well and I am nuts about Enya. I really felt like crying as I watched YNWA with your Dad's pics. I lost my mom at age 10 as well and I was the youngest of 8 kids. but she gave me a wonderful gift in her passing which I might tell you about sometime. I started to say that this wasn't the proper place to write about that but maybe it is. Kryon explained that in the psssing of someone you love or if you happen to be the cause fo someones passing,there is always a gift in it for you and if you never understand the gift then their passing was in vain. The gift of her passing caused me to have to live with my sister and her husband for the next 8 years. I was severely abused in every conceivable way except sexually and for many years afterwards I hated the two of them for what they did to me but I still loved them as well (SOME conflict huh?) I raised her 4 children and kept her house and did her laundry for her since my bro-in-law was usually gone on a truck and while she read romances and whatever. In 1999 after my wife and I separated I had an epiphany which gave me total understanding of every single thing that they had ever done to me and every single argument and harsh word that transpired between myself and my wife. Total understanding of all of it in less than 2 seconds. My response? I busted out laughing for about 5 minutes because I saw what a game life actually is. And then I cried for fifteen minutes. Deep boneshaking heartrending sobs because I had fallen so short of remembering who I am getting such a late start and because I had forgotten the most basic groundrule. Forgiveness: It isn't about anyone else. It is about me taking back my power and my peace of mind. And you cannot learn forgiveness unless there is something to forgive and the hardest person to forgive is yourself. In that instant I became totally grateful for every single word,blow,deed,injustice,slap,kick,slur,insult etc. that I ever experienced. We are talking gratitude of the magnitude of a man dying of thirst in the desert when God leads him to a cool spring of water!!!!. That was the most liberating thing of my entire life. I no longer had to carry the burden of the grudge and hatred around with me anymore and I was free to love them not just unconditionally but with tremendous gratitude for being my finest teachers. In that same instant I realized that we had conspired together to set up this exact scenario before we came down. they promised to be the "bad guys" this time so I could learn forgiveness. A part they were happy to play because they loved me so much and I loved and trusted them to do a perfect job of it and they did. Thank you Father they are staunch fundamentalists and have no concept of what they provided for me nor will I eer attempt to tell them because it would only upset them talking about re-incarnation,soul contracts or anything like that. So I just smile and love them and let them do their thing!!!LOL On the other side we fully realize that absolutely everyone is "family" and we are all ONE as well. And that the only answer is Love and forgiveness no matter what the question was.
Denise I hope in some way this story is a blessing to you as well. Maybe there is some Forgiveness that needs to take place in your life. It will enrichen you so much and set you totally free just like the eagle is free and unencumbered.
