What is your ideal vision of Community and what steps are you currently taking to realize it?

I love and agree with the general tenor of this thread, and also see community as a local, tangible reality. It seems to me that a lot of people have traditionally gotten stuck translating the experience of personal enlightenment, however defined, ultimately into a shared experience of living ...

Dear StreamSource and Brother Jarou,

I have a vast online community spanning the globe which I greatly appreciate and regularly interact with. I'm not talking theory here. I'm speaking of tangible community, where one creates in real time, belly to belly with "soul family." :-)

I noticed that Karen Bishop's latest "energy alert" was again about the type of community I'm describing--and as always, this community is "on the horizon." It hasn't yet happened for her or, for that matter, many of us uplifted and uplifting souls ... Where, when and how? I ask.

In daily service and consistently engaged with spirit, ;-)

Hello Sol,

When I spoke of community participation, I meant 'physical' community.
The workshops I referenced, also, are physical. The blog I mention, is
as well, a starting step towards a physical world interaction project that
is in development. I'd value your comment there if you could, on any of the
topics, as it has just begun (A mention of and link to your book, in your
entry, would be quite acceptable ;~).

As we collaborate upon this thought, we, co-creativly,
form 'community'. Vibrationally, we tune ourselves to
a vision that we can accept or neglect. Currently, the
steps that I'm putting into place are: more community

creating self-development workshops and continuing
my inner-self growth.
